
Minister of Sports V. Abdurahiman will launch a project for saving life called “Sradha: Safe Hands” on Sunday.
Mohammed Mohassin, MLA, launched a training program to rescue life, which aims to create a “saving life in every family” in his Pattambi constituency.
Sport Minister V. Abdurahiman launched a program entitled “Sradha: Safe Hands” in the post held on Sunday in the government of Sree Neelakant Sanskrit, Pattambi.
Mohassin said he would have at least one member from each family of training techniques to save life, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
The program takes place in cooperation with Aster Medcity, Kochi. It focuses on strengthening the community readiness for medical emergencies through CPR training, first aid and response to emergencies.
Mr Abdurahiman said incomplete or incorrect knowledge could be more harmful than useful. According to him, only trained individuals can effectively save lives during emergency such as cardiac arrests or accidents.
Mohassin said, “Our goal is to make Pattambi a model constituency in readiness to save life.”
O. Lakshmikutty, chairman of the city of Pattambi, welcomed the assembly. District Medical Officer TV Rosh and Aster Medcity Emergency Medicine Head Johnson Varghese led various sessions.
