The daily test for the elephant march, before the Dasar procession, began on Shivamogg on Thursday. As part of the exam, three elephants marched – Sagar, Bahaddur and Balanna, marched through the streets of the city.
On Wednesday, the elephants were brought to the city from the Sakrebail camp Elephant. The MLA for Shivamogg Sn Channabasapp and Shivamogg City Corporation’s officers greeted Jumbos with a great welcome and offered them prayers. The company agreed on elephants at Vasavi school.
As part of the test, elephants started a march in the Vasavi circle on Thursday morning and arrived at Allama PraBh Park through the Gandhi Bazaar, Shivappa Nayak Circle, Ameer Ahmed Circle, Nezru Road and Prison Road. After March, many people stopped to click on the pictures of majestic elephants.
Bullock Carts
Another event that captivated the inhabitants of Shivamoggy was the parade of Bullock’s cars on the streets of the city as part of Raith Dasar. The parade of decorated cars began in the scientific field on the BH Road after the farmer Kamalla called him. Mr. Channabasappa, Karnataka Rajya Raith Sangha President HR Basavarajapp and others.
The procession culminated in Kuvemp Rang Mandira, where the seminar was organized.
He plays on the street
DVS PU College students organized a street game called “BALYA JOPANA” as part of Rang Dasar in various places in the city on Thursday. The game, based on the script of THAMATE JAGADISH, was directed by Giridhar M. Dinnene.
The game intends to spread awareness among young people about the poor effects of tobacco smoking and drug consumption, in addition to education of people against children’s marriage and how to deal with cases of sexual abuse.
