The collapse of the road in the Thai capital of Bangkok at the beginning of Wednesday left a massive hole that swallowed cars and poles.
The road got directly in front of the local police station and Vajira hospital and created a sink of about 50 meters (160 feet) wide and tens of meters deep.
Sudden collapse caused significant damage to the infrastructure, tears the power line and revealed a cracked water that plunged water into the emptiness. The emergency crews and the police quickly picked up from the place, with a pickup who was uncertainly balanced at the edge of the abyss.

People evacuated
After the incident, people around them were evacuated to ensure their safety.
Suriyachai Rawiwan, Director of the Bangkok Preventions Prevention Department, said AFP on the scene that the collapse is probably associated with a recent heavy rain and leaking.
“There was a leak in the water pipe – the water from the pipeline erodes (the ground) under the road, so this incident occurred,” he said, adding that there were no known victims.

“The water that eroded brought some land that dropped to the submobile metro station, causing collapse,” Suriyachai added.
The tunnel is part of the underground train service, which is being built by the State Authority for a rapid transit office, which stated that it would probed the cause of the cave.
Suriyachai said that a local police station facing a collapsed road was evacuated.
After the incident Governor Bangkoku Chadchart Sittipunt said that the road dropped above the joint between the double -track tunnel and the planned new station, Scmp.com reported.
“As soon as the country slipped into this tunnel, then the whole tunnel collapsed. The pipeline also burst and the water will collapse further,” Chadchart said in a video published on the social media.
“At the moment we evaluate damage, we think the hospital should be spared. But we have to engage the hole immediately before everything else is there.”
