The State Secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI) Binoy Viswam said that a dangerous political style of functioning that does not show regard to the dignity of women active in social, cultural and political spheres in Kerala.
This style of politics is questioned by the enlightened perspectives of the dignity of women and equality of women and gender, which Kerala has been raised for decades of progressive struggles, said on Friday (September 19, 2025) in his statement.
Keral’s women who fought for their rights to build a shoulder with men in each field will remain in the face of these attacks.
He said that these new political forces and their regressive policies were powered by the outdated ideas of the patriarchy that feudalism remained. They tried to abuse new social media and progress in science and technology to spread hate against women.
Mr. Viswam warned that if the state of social, cultural and political movements would not end to defeat this attempt to make public consciousness into dark days, the Renaissance value that Kerala worked on compliance would be deeply injured.
The Communist Party is ready to connect with all similarly -minded forces to face this situation and strengthen the democratic culture that supports respectful and healthy gender relationships, he said.
