
Pakistani goalkeeper Mohammad Haris injured the referee of Ruchir Palliyagurge with his throw during the match 10 Asia Cup 2025 against SAE on Wednesday 17th September at the Dubai international cricket stadium in Dubai. During the sixth via the second shift, Haris threw the ball towards Saim Ayub after gathering an outfield throw.
In the end, however, the referee hit Ruchir Palliyagurge, who faced Ayub and hit his left ear. Palliyagurge immediately took part in physios and started from the field when Haris even apologized to him. He was replaced by Gazi Sohel, who worked as a referee in the field for the rest of the match.
