
Vice President JD Vance on Monday (September 15) entered the Charlie Kirk show and honored an influential conservative activist who was murdered last week. Vance broadcasted from her ceremonial office in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building building and told the listeners that the best honor he could offer to his friend was to be a better husband and father.
“Filling for someone who cannot be filled”
The life transition of the two -hour program, which ran and broadcast in the Bílý House’s press briefing room, represented several White House officials and administration who worked with Kirk.
“I fill in someone that cannot be filled in, but I will do my best,” Vance said at the start.
Personal loss
Vance, 41 years, shared that he was deeply affected by the loss of his long -time friend. Almost ten years ago, they developed a narrow bond, with Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, and last year he strongly supported Vance as the election of Vice President Donald Trump.
Vance remembered the interview with Kirk’s widow, Erika, who told him that her husband had never raised his voice or was “cross or on average.”
“At that moment I took that I had to be a better husband and I had to be a better father,” Vance told the listeners. “This is how I will honor my friend.”

JD Vance called on Americans to uncover individuals who publicly celebrate the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Towards the end of the two -hour Vance program, he called on the audience to act against such behavior.
“When you see someone celebrating Charlie’s murder, call them and hell, call their employer,” Vance told the audience.
Vance stressed that while he and his party firmly against political violence is the celebration of the political assassination equally intolerable.
“We do not believe in political violence, but we believe in courtesy and there is no courtesy to celebrate the political assassination,” he said.
White House officials who appeared on the show appreciated Kirk’s influence and described him as a dynamic leader who inspired the young conservatives.
Accompany Kirk’s body home
Vice President has already played a personal role in remarking Kirka, flying with Erika Kirk and the coffin on the Air Force two from Utah to Arizona last week. On the 24th anniversary of September 11, 2001, he also canceled his planned participation, attacks in New York to be after shooting in Orem in Utah.
Remember Charlie Kirk
Kirk, 31, was fatally shot last Wednesday (September 10) during the event at Utah Valley University. He was the founder of Turning Point USA, one of the largest conservative political organizations with a national presence on high school and university campuses.
