Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and workers organized celebrations to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 12th year in office in Karnataka on Tuesday.
Speaking to presspersons, BJP State President BY Vijayendra said that the Prime Minister worked non-stop and played a vital role in making India one of the world’s largest economies. He said that Mr. Modi had served continuously as the Prime Minister for 4,399 days and termed the achievement as historic.
Other prominent leaders of the BJP’s state unit, including Leader of Opposition R. Ashoka, MLC Chalavadi Narayanaswamy and Karnataka BJP in-charge Radhamohan Das Agarwal offered prayers at various temples on the occasion.
