The opposition leader in the R. Ashok Ashok Ashoz threatened to start the chamundeshwari chano on the dharmasthaly lines and set off for the congress for “injuries of Hind’s sentiment”.
Ashok spoke to Prespersons after visiting Chamundeshware and accused the government of Congress of deliberately focused on Hindu places of worship.
Mistened to the notes of Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar that Chamundi Hills and Chamundeshwari do not belong exclusively Hindy, Mr. Ashok asked who he belongs to.
“If it does not belong to the Hindes, then is it a temple?” Congress resorts to these practices during the elections, but still maintains it now, he added.
He warned that if Chamundi Hills and the temple became part of the “set of tools”, it would not be tolerated and anticipated the fall of the congress. “If the sacredness of the chamundeshwari temple has been broken or questioned, we will fight and start chamulswari chalo rally,” he said.
Ashok continued his objection to the invitation of the writer Ban Mushtauq to start Dasar, and stated that she had offended the state symbol and deity associated with Cannada.
“If he refuses Bhuneshware as he accepts Chamundeshwari,” Mr. Ashok asked. He repeated the BJP requirement for Mrs Mushtaq to apologize to Kannadigas before the start of DaSary.
Although there are 6 crore Hindu in the state, the government could not identify a single success among them or consider them suitable for inauguration dasar, he noted.
Asked by Mr. Ashok, the poet KS Nissar Ahmed was invited to the inauguration of Dasar, because his poem Nityotsava is Odou to Karnataka and respect the culture of the state and all traditions.
