The Victims of Cyber Crimes in Hyderabad Received Refunds Totalling Over ₹ 1.41 Crore This Year, An 87% Jump From Last Year, While’s City’s City Cells (ZCCS) ALSO DISPOSED Recorded in incident Report uploads to the crime and criminal tracking network and Systems (CCTNS), Signalling Sharper Documentation and Monitoring.
These figures came to light during the inspection meeting held on Friday by police commissioner Hyderabad CV Anand to assess the performance of all seven ZCCs in the last two months. The evaluation focused on the disposal of the petition, the refund mechanisms, the detection of cases, the campaigns to raise awareness, interstate coordination through the Samanvaya portal and CCTNS recording.
The Commissioner said progress reflected the stronger reaction of citizens and improved internal coordination. He directly interact with representatives of inspectors, sub-insectors and police constant constituents to understand the practical problems on Earth, promised to solve operational gaps and ensure that employees meet their basic requirements.
The Commissioner, who recognized the growing public awareness of the ZCCS, urged officers to intensify coordination with banks, telecommunications and court agencies to speed up the solutions of fraud. He stressed that ongoing training and awareness would remain the spine of prevention of computer crimes in the city.
The review was attended by another police commissioner (crimes) of P. Visw Prasad, representative of the police commissioner (cyber crimes) Dara Kavitha, the act and sho RG Siva Maruthi, the act of Jaipal Reddy, and inspectors and subordinate inspectors from all seven ZCC.
