
MSC Verona with a proposal of 17.1 m, which was Kotve on Vishinjam International Seaport and set a national record for the deepest design of the container vessel ever processed in India.
The Vishinjam International Port, developed and operated in Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (Apsez), achieved another milestone by the MSC Verona boilers in the 17.1 m port, setting a national record for the deepest design of container ships manipulated in India.
The milestone event also agreed that MSC Verona became 500. The boat to be boiler in Vishinjam – a remarkable success within just 10 months of commercial operations that began in December 2024. Of the 500 vessels processed in Vishinjam, 28 were ultra -large container ships (ULCVS). On this short range, Vishinjam has already processed 1.1 million Teus (twenty equivalent units) and exceeded its originally expected annual capacity.
These figures emphasize the strategic importance of the port in Indian maritime infrastructure and its growing role in global trade management. With a natural depth of 18-20 mA, the minimal litoral drift is uniquely located to suit the largest container containers in the world. Its skills quickly transform it into an Indian premiere translation center of deep water and smoothly connect the nation with the main international routes and strengthen their trail in the global transport industry.
500 ships that have been anchored in this short range of the period is evidence of how important Vishinjam is in world transport of cargo, the Minister of Harbor VN Vasavan said. Vishinjam grows with every step.
