
The high -ranking official of US President Donald Trump Pete HegSeth caused controversy to repost a video that says women should not have voting right.
The controversial repost on X shows a video of Christian nationalist church, where various pastors claim that women should not be allowed to vote.
Defense Minister Pete HegSeth shared a video on Thursday evening and illustrated his deep and personal connection with the Christian nationalist pastor, who has extreme opinions on the role of religion and women.
Trump official commented on the almost seven -minute CNN report, examined Doug Wilson, co -founder of the Community of Reformed Evangelical Churches or CREC.
The report contained a pastor of the Wilson Church, which can be seen to launch for the abolition of the voting law of women from the Constitution. Another pastor can be heard that in their ideal world people would vote like households.
The video also represented a female choir, who says he will undergo his husband.
“The whole Christ throughout his life,” HegSeth wrote in his post that accompanied the video.

Hegset’s contribution received more than 12,000 likes and 2,000 shares for X. Some users agreed to pastors in the video, while others expressed an alarm with the Minister of Defense, who promoted Christian nationalist ideas.
Doug Penitt, Pastor and Executive Director of the Progressive Evangelical Organization votes common good, said the ideas in the video are opinions that “small edges of Christians maintain” and said it is “very worrying” that HegSeth would intensify them.
Pentagon’s main spokesman Sean Parnell told Associated Press on Friday that HegSeth is a “proud member of the church” associated with CREC, and “much appreciates Mr. Wilson’s many writings and teachings”.
In May HegSeth invited his personal pastor Brooks Potteiger to the Pentagon to lead the first of several Christian prayer services that HegSeth held inside the government building during working hours. Employees of the Ministry of Defense and members of the Services stated that they had received invitations to the event in their government e -mails.
“I would like to see a nation is a Christian nation, and I would like to see the world being a Christian world,” Wilson said in the CNN report.
