
Almost 50 persons belonging to minority communities were joined by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as part of the campaign organized by the Morcha Morcha State Unit in Ernacula on Monday.
Among those who joined the party included VA James, Mandalam President of the Congress Keral (M) and James Mathew, former president of Mandalam, said that released release here. KV Haridas, a state spokesman for BJP, said that the aim of the campaign is to bring more families from minority communities to the party fold.
The edition quoted those who joined the party that they claimed that the left and united queues maintained silence over the case registered against youth for laying a floral carpet (Pookkalam) with the theme of the “Operation Sindoor” along with floral design showing the saffron flag leading to SRI PARTHSARATHY in Kollam district. They argued that the Prime Minister’s Development Agenda Modi, and the party’s value on minorities, forced them to join the BJP.
