A temporary public reading room containing millions of pages of records linked to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein has opened in New York, drawing attention to one of the most controversial criminal cases in recent American history.
The collection reportedly includes approximately 3.5 million pages of Epstein-related material released earlier this year by the U.S. Department of Justice. The documents are said to have been assembled into more than 3,700 volumes and are on display in a private gallery in the city’s Tribeca neighborhood.
The exhibit, titled “Donald J. Trump and Jeffrey Epstein Memorial Reading Room,” opened to the public on May 8 and will continue through May 21. Entry is only possible on the basis of orders.

The initiative is organized by the Institute for Primary Facts, a nonprofit organization that says it focuses on transparency and accountability in the U.S. government.
Including a timeline of the Trump-Epstein relationship
In addition to the extensive collection of documents, the exhibit also reportedly includes a timeline charting the relationship between Jeffrey Epstein and US President Donald Trump, an association that has been the subject of public debate for years.
The project’s website described the reading room as an attempt to keep the public’s attention focused on the Epstein case and its wider implications.
“The Donald J. Trump and Jeffrey Epstein Memorial Reading Room is a physical, undeniable record of corruption, cover-up, and crime, all 3.5 million pages, 3,437 volumes, and 17,000 pounds of released and partially redacted Epstein files that Trump has been working overtime to distract us from,” website established.
“The reading room keeps the public’s attention focused on the crimes of Epstein and the Epstein class and on Trump’s desperate attempts to bury them in order to support victims and survivors in their quest for justice.”

The exact address of the gallery has not been published. Organizers reportedly cited security concerns and said only confirmed attendees would receive venue details via email and text before their meeting.
Organizers call it the push for accountability
David Garrett, identified as the chief organizer of the exhibition, said Wired that the purpose of the project is to ensure that the extent of the Epstein-related allegations is not forgotten.
“The evidence in this room is evidence of one of the most horrific crimes in American history,” Garrett said.
“When people walk through this room, I hope they realize that we have the rule of law in America, and if they stand up, they can take action and demand accountability for the crimes that have been committed.”

The exhibit has sparked debate on the Internet and in American media circles due to its direct references to Trump and the public presentation of a vast amount of records related to the Epstein investigation.
Who was Jeffrey Epstein?
Jeffrey Epstein was a wealthy American financier who faced accusations of sexually exploiting dozens of underage girls over several years.
According to investigators, many of the alleged incidents took place at his Manhattan and Palm Beach properties during the early 2000s. Reports also linked several allegations to activities on Little St. James Island, a private island that Epstein bought in 1998.
In 2008, Epstein pleaded guilty in Florida to charges related to soliciting minors for prostitution. The plea deal later drew widespread criticism because it allowed him to avoid stiffer federal prosecution and serve a lesser sentence.
He spent about 13 months in custody under a controversial plea deal that remained under intense scrutiny for years.
In July 2019, Epstein was arrested again on federal charges of sex trafficking to minors. However, before the trial could begin, he was found dead in his prison cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York in August 2019.
The New York Medical Examiner ruled his death a suicide by hanging, although the circumstances of his death continue to fuel speculation and conspiracy theories online.
The newly opened reading room comes amid continued public fascination with the Epstein case, particularly the network of powerful people allegedly connected to him and broader questions about wealth, power and responsibility in the United States.
