
Zimbabwe registered a convincing 33-run victory over Namibia in the first T20i on Monday 15th September at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. After Zimbabwe was inserted on the bat, he created a dominant batting performance and accumulated an impressive total of 211/3 in 20 breaks.
The star of the show was Brian Bennett, who played blisters with 94 escapes of only 51 balls, dotted with 8 four and 4 six. His aggressive Tahly held Namibian superpowers at bay during his shifts.

Tadiwanash Marumani also provided solid support at the other end and produced well measures 62 out of 48 balls. The duo got the team for an amazing start and added 124 runs for the first goal of 85 balls.
After the start of fast fire Ryan Burl (22 OFF 9) and Captain Sikandar Raza (23* OFF 11) got the team in a perfect goal and took the team around 200.
Namibia lost the opener of Malan Kruge (13 out of 13) early in the shifts when Muzarabani blessing hit his team soon. Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton, however, got his life back into the persecution with his shifts 38 out of 24 balls and added 56 runs for the second goal with Jan Frylink (21 out of 13).
When the game escaped, Sikandar Raza hit Zimbabwe at a crucial moment and removed Frynlick. In the next via Wellington Masacadza, he got rid of the well-assembled Loftie-Eaton.
After their departure, Captain Gerhard Erasmus (26 out of 19) and Zane Green (33 out of 27) tried to rebuild their shifts but could not keep up with a clean run. Namibia was constantly losing the goals at regular intervals, because Zimbabwe’s pitchs bowed to discipline and control.
The blessings of Muzarabani (2/38) and Sikandar Raza (2/31) were exceptional artists with the ball, raised two goals and effectively closed the hopes of Namibian comeback.
Namibia eventually ended in 178/7 and dropped 33 short targets. As a result, Zimbabwe took the lead 1-0 in the series of three matches with the second Sad T20i, which is played on Tuesday, September 16th.
