MUMBAI: Former India pace leader Zaheer Khan is delighted that the bowlers have started to make a comeback in IPL-2026. “I am very happy to see the bowlers coming back to the IPL,” Zaheer said on the sidelines of a promotional event on Wednesday. “You’ve seen low scores, 155 defended, teams out to 70. It shows that aggression and the right approach is working.”At the center of this revival is Bhuvneshwar Kumar, whose consistency for RCB has reignited talk of India’s comeback. Zaheer believes the veteran still has a lot to offer. “It’s great to see Bhuvi perform like this. I’m sure he’s thinking along these lines. The IPL has always been a platform to promote national selection and he’s made a strong statement,” Zaheer noted.

It doesn’t define you. Bumrah is aware of that and he can still turn it around with the remaining games,” he said.Zaheer also expressed optimism about the youngsters, especially Mohsin Khan and Prince Yadav of LSG. “Mohsin has had a stop-start with injuries. The ability is there but he needs to stay fit and play consistently. On the other hand, Prince has put in the hard yards and is reaping the rewards. It’s exciting to see that kind of talent come through.”
