Shreyas Iyer revealed his chat with Yuzvendra Chahal because PBKS Spinner continues his return during the IPL 2025 season. Chhal, who was one of the big money at PBKS during the iPL 2025 auction, fought for form soon when only two goals.
However, Chahal bounced off in a thrilling victory over Krk with four goals and continued his gentle run to return to Bengalur when he ended up with Numbers 2 for 11 in 3 overs during the Rain Game. Chhal now has 8 goals out of 7 matches. Shreyas spoke to the presentation after the match and said he told Chhal that he was the winner of the match for the party, and urged him not to be safe and go to the goals.

Skipper PBKS described the spinner of the foot as one of the best pitching in the history of IPL.
“I personally talked to Chahal and told him you were the winner of the match and you have to get us as many goals as possible and you don’t have to be safe. He has the ability to jump back and is one of the best IPL players so far,” Shreyas said.
Shreyas also said he was glad that he had experienced a roller coaster ride on which PBKS was at the moment because they saw maximum and minima over the last three games.
“Yes, diversity is the spice of life. We managed to experience most of them in this IPL,” said Shreyas.
“The decision on my instincts”
When he talked about his captain, Shreyas said he was calling on his instincts. He also said that the goal was to ensure that RCB dough did not receive time to settle in the fold.
“To be honest, I didn’t think about my instincts. I never wanted the new dough to settle in the fold,” Shreyas said.
Both teams are now again in Mullanpur on Sunday 20th April.
