YSRCP women’s wing demands apology from police for ‘inappropriate behaviour’ towards ex-Dy. CM
YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Public Prosecution General Secretary on Wednesday asked the police department and the government to issue an “unconditional apology” to former deputy chief minister Pushpa Srivani for “deliberately misbehaving” with her by police constables in Visakhapatnam.
She said that the gruesome incident has shocked all women and men in the state as the high policing went viral on social media. She asked the government to reverse the decision to close the Marikavalasa residential school, where almost 600 indigenous children studied.
