YSRCP steps up campaign over alleged DSC-2025 irregularities
YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) state general secretary and affiliate wing in-charge Aluru Sambasiva Reddy has called for intensifying the party’s campaign against alleged irregularities in the DSC-2025 teacher recruitment process conducted by the Andhra Pradesh government.
On Sunday, in a teleconference with representatives of the party’s youth and student wings, including state committee members, zonal presidents, district and assembly presidents and mandal-level leaders, Mr. Reddy urged the cadres to highlight the issue prominently during the ‘Two Years of Betrayal’ protest programs being organized across the state.
He said the town hall meetings scheduled at the constituency headquarters for the next two days should focus on the alleged irregularities in the DSC-2025 while highlighting what the party termed as the failure of the TDP-led coalition government.
Mr. Reddy alleged that the government had created high expectations among millions of unemployed youth by promising mega DSC recruitment during the elections, but ended up disappointing more than three million applicants.
Alleging that serious doubts were raised about the recruitment process, he said the government remained silent despite protests from candidates across the state. He further claimed that the audio recordings allegedly related to the recruitment process have surfaced in the public domain, but neither the government nor the concerned minister has given any explanation.
The YSRCP leader also expressed concern over the alleged trolling of candidates who met YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy seeking justice. According to him, the government’s silence on this matter only deepened the suspicions.
Demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe, Mr Reddy alleged that there may have been a “mega scam” under the guise of mega DSC recruitment. He said the YSRCP will continue its agitation until the facts are revealed and those responsible are held accountable.
He also asked party leaders to highlight issues concerning the youth and students, including backlog of fee reimbursements, lack of job opportunities and alleged failure to implement unemployment support schemes.
