The official spokesman of YSRCP R. Ramesh Kumar Reddy was arrested late on Sunday evening for charging of alleged inappropriate comments against the main minister N. Chandrababa Naid and Minister of Mandipalli RAM Prasad Reddy. The leader YSRCP was arrested from his residence in Lakkireddipalle in the district of Annamayya.
The police registered the case against Mr. Ramesh Reddy after the videos of his notes were viral on social media. Soon after Mr. Rameh Reddy’s detention, a large number of party cadres from the Rayachoti division gathered before his residence, lifted the slogans against the coalition government and demanded the release of its leader. Other police forces were deployed from Rayachoti to maintain law and order.
