YSRCP leader Gudivada AmarNath claimed that the NDA coalition government in the state indulges in fraud of 11,000 crore by signing a 25 -year energy purchase agreement with a private solar energy company to obtain energy for 4.60 GBP per unit.
Amarnath, who addressed the media on Monday, said the government had forgotten the election promise that it would not increase tariffs, but represented in PPA in order to gain power for 2.11 GBP by a unit more than the price bought by the YSRCP government.
He wondered why the media friendly to TDP, which released stories that claimed that YSRCP was indulging in corruption to the melody of 1 lakh crore over PPA, now silent on this matter.
The YSRCP government created a PPA with a session, a public sector. At 2.49 GBP, PPA was the lowest in the ground, he claimed. TDP and its friendly media, however, increased the shade and scream that the YSRCP government indulged in massive corruption. He said the PPA was carried out by the TDP government in 2014–199 to gain energy for 6.90 GBP, the unit was much higher.
Mr. Amarath claimed that the TDP government with Axis energy to obtain 400 MW per year for the next 25 years will cause another burden of CRORE 210 GBP at the Treasury. He said that people would have to carry a burden for the next 25 years.
He also claimed that the AP Regulatory Commission for Electricity (Aperc) was forced to erase the agreement by using the advantages of laws by applying part 108 in force. He said that YSRCP will start agitation in this respect and create awareness among the public.
Referring to the collapse of the walls in the temple Simhachalam said that the supplier clearly said that he was forced to build a wall in a hurry. This indicated the level of corruption in the government, he said.
