The popular YouTuber found himself in hot water in videos and his photographs that run on superbikes and perform dangerous pieces in the environmentally sensitive areas of Ladakh, viral on social media.
Ali Aalyan IQBal, a content creator with more than 2.5 million subscribers on YouTube and 428,000 Instagram followers, was booked according to sections 125 and 292 Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhit (BNS) 2023.
The District Police easily published on X, formerly known as Twitter, and said: “The home tourist was booked U/S 125 and 292 BNS 2023 for dangerous cycling in the limited zones of Pangong and Nubra Sand Dunes.
Ali, who describes himself as a rider, bodybuilder and boxer in his Instagram Bio, shared photos and videos of his Ladakh trip on his social media accounts. His actions attracted sharp criticism online, many accused him of encouraging irresponsible tourism.
One Instagram user wrote: “Because of people like you, others cannot enjoy tourist places peacefully.
Another user noted, “Why are you destroying nature.”
Ladakh, renowned, but fragile landscape, was under tension due to growing tourist activity. Authorities and environmental groups have repeatedly appealed to visitors to stick to the designated routes and continue from the protected areas.
