Police Sholinghur was arrested on Friday by a 21 -year -old man for killing a student of class X, J. Janani (15), in her house in the village of Pulivam near Sholinghur in Ranipet. Her cousin was seriously injured on Wednesday.
The police said the arrested person was identified as K. Subranes (21), a native of Kg Kandigai in the Truvallur district. The initial investigation revealed that the subrangers were in love with Janani, but refused his proposal.
Together with her mother J. Priyanka, Janani attended her grandparents’ house in the village of Kan Kandigai. This is the place where the subrangers got to know the girl.

He attacked the girls and stabbed Janani to death. Her cousin B. Lakeshaya (16), a class XI, was seriously injured in the attack.
You hear a stir and neighbors and relatives broke the door and grabbed the subrays. They informed Sholingur’s police and moved the injured girls to the Taluk Government Hospital in Sholinghur.
Doctors in the hospital declared Janani dead on arrival. Lakeshaya was transferred to the Government Medical College Hospital in Vellore.
