Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president PVN Madhav urged the youth to enter politics with the determination to build the nation and with the vision of Viksit Bharat.

Addressing a meeting of state Yuva Morcha officials here on Sunday, Mr. Madhav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was working to transform India into a developed country by 2047 and that this goal could not be achieved without the active participation of the youth.

He said politics should serve as a platform for public service rather than a means to enjoy power and encouraged the youth, especially women, to enter public life with a sense of purpose.

Mr. Madhav urged the youth to raise their voice on public issues and effectively counter what he termed as misleading propaganda by the opposition parties.

He said that the central government attaches special importance to the development of Andhra Pradesh and pointed out that Polavaram is the only national project which has received 100% funding from the centre.

He stressed the need for people to realize that the Center is supporting the development of Amaravati and said that the large-scale investment flowing into the state is creating new opportunities for industrial growth.

Mr. Madhav urged the Yuva Morcha activists to ensure that Mr. Modi’s vision, development agenda and social programs reached the people.

Yuva Morcha state in-charge secretary Ashok Raju, state organizing body general secretary Madhukar, BJYM state general secretary N. Harikrishna and others were present.
