Deputy Director of Women’s Development Department and Children said that the child’s marriage is the age -old social evil practice and should be removed from the route.
He focused on the program of raising awareness of the safety and strengthening of the position of women, the law of the POCSO and the law on prevention of children’s marriage, which took place at the Government University in Yadgiru for students of girls leading at universities.
The program was held jointly by the Ministry, School Education and Literacy Department within the Shakthi mission.
Mr. Veeranagouda said that children’s marriage can only be prevented only after the general public, especially the boys and girls of the young generation, connects to the hand with the separation. “Anyone can dial the line numbers of help 1098, 112 and 181 to prevent children’s marriage or protect women. Not only child marriage, but also minor pregnancy can also be prevented by collective measures,” he added.
Nirmala, a lecturer, said that children’s marriage was not prevented despite all possible consciousness launched for decades. However, she added that he could prevent continuous awareness programs.
