The youth were killed and four others were seriously injured when SUV speeds hit the SUV SUV on Saturday evening on Saturday evening along the National Highway-66 near Kazhakuttam.

Injured persons, identified as Rajneesh, 27, Marayamutom, Kiran, 29, from Pongumood, Akhila, 28, from CRV Puram and Sreelakshmi, 23, from Kaimanam. They were admitted to Thiruvananthapuram Government Medical College Hospital.
It turned out that the vehicle traveled at an extremely high speed from the chakka towards Kazhakuttam when the driver lost control of the vehicle, which then thrust the concrete column. The vehicle turned over in the impact, causing a major impairment of operation for almost half an hour.
The case was registered in connection with the incident.
