Youth held for allegedly offering to kill a minor in Perumbavoor, Kerala

Perumbavoor police have arrested a youth for allegedly trying to kill a survivor of a POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) case. Accused Muhammed Athinan, 22, was granted bail in the POCSO case.

The alleged incident took place on Monday around 2:00 p.m. The arrest was recorded on Tuesday.

The accused was charged with crimes including attempted murder, trespassing and intimidation. He was produced in the Perumbavoor court and remanded in custody on Tuesday.

Athinan was previously arrested and taken into custody for allegedly assaulting a minor girl in August.
