Twenty -year -old youth drowned on Sunday in the streams of Bhima, when she was swimming near Saradagi’s fire on Sunday, Jeswargi Taluk in the district of Kalaburagagi.
The victim was identified as Mahadev, Kalaburagi resident.
According to sources, there was an incident when a group of five friends went to Saradagi’s Barrage and started swimming.
Mahadev stuck in the water and drowned.
Fire and emergency services teams, along with expert divers, have reached the seats and started searching.
A case was registered at the Židorgi police station.
