The government railway police (GRP) arrested a 22 -year -old man for theft of a laptop and other valuables from a train stopped at the Katpadi railway station. The police said the arrested person was identified as K. Hari Prasanth, 22, a native of Erode. B. Sudeesh victim, 34 years old, a software professional from Kottayam in Kerala, traveled to Chennai in Trivandrum Express a few days ago when he realized that his laptop, watch and gold jewelry were missing. Immediately filed a complaint on GRP. Meanwhile, during a routine inspection at the station, the police found suspicious youth. When he questioned him, he gave contradictory statements. Then they carried out an investigation during which the suspect admitted crime. A case was submitted and was filed in a high prison in Vellore.
