An anonymous user’s honest account of emotional confrontation with their head manager over Diwali resonated with many and focused on the alleged “toxic work culture” in these MNCs.
Alleged policy of distorted society
The original poster, which is a woman identifying as an American MNC employee with a hybrid work model, expressed a deep disappointment in the company’s policies. “I understand that at the end of the day we are simply a cheap work for them, but God, I believe we would have some politicians that treat us as a man.”

She also stated the company to prioritize her Western colleagues by saying: “American/European colleagues can take a long holiday and happily take weeks of spring holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas.”

Mandate in office during diwali
The core of the user complaint focuses on the policy of “without work from home or sheets” of her company during the Diwali week.
