
The industry department is from the booth that the Thiruvananthapuram Brahmos unit should be left in the public sector, the Minister of Industry P. Rajeeve said. It answers questions at a press conference on Friday about the alleged move to the “Delink” Thiruvananthapuram Unit Brahmos from the parent Brahmos Aerospace PVT LTD (BAPL), the Indo-Russian missile joint venture.

They sought the urgent intervention of the Kerala government to discourage any step that adversely affects the future of the unit and jobs.
Mr. Rajeeve said that despite this development plans to expand Brahmos continue full steam. Discussions about the soil needed for the expansion have already taken place, he said.
