
Raj Bhavan officials practiced yoga in Durbar Hall as part of the “Yogandra” program on Tuesday. The meeting was organized by Yoga Guru Ramanand from the Ayush department together with his assistants and employees.
In the report Governor S. Abdul Nazeer said that yoga is an Indian gift for the world, developed more than 5,000 years ago, and practicing leads to perfect harmony between mind and body, man and nature.
Governor referred to the inhabitants of Andr Pradesh to actively participate in the 11th International Day of Yoga celebrations, which takes place in Visakhapatnam 21. June in large numbers and made a great success.
On this occasion, Secretary of Governor, M. Hari Jawaharlal, explained the importance of regular practice of yoga asanas. He said yoga is beneficial for physical and mental well -being, reduces stress and improves overall health.
The joint secretary of Governor PS SuryAprakasha, Deputy Secretary of Governor Raghu, officer and employee Raj Bhavan, also participated.
