
The cyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal on the coast of Andra Pradesh and Odisha is likely to cause some heavy rains in the southern keral on Tuesday. Six districts were on Tuesday in India Meteorological Department (IMD). Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, IDUKKI, PALAKKAD and MALAPPURAM are probably witnesses of rain in the range of 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm in the next 24 hours.
The upper air cyclonic circulation over the northwest Bay of Bengal and the adjacent western-central Bay of Bengal on the coast of South Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh between 1.5 and 5.8 km above the average sea level tilts south with persistent height. Under the influence of the system, districts with a high range in southern and medium kerarals will be witnessed by isolated heavy rains in the next two days.
On Wednesday, a yellow warning for Pathanamthitta, IDUKKI, PALAKKAD and MALAPPURAM was released.
