The heavy rain, which has been whipping parts of Kera in the last few days, has weakened the decrease in the power of Westerlies prevailing over the state.
The upper air cyclonic circulation, which lay on Wednesday morning over North Keral and the neighborhood, further moved to the southern interior of Karnataka and the neighborhood, reducing the intensity of the rain in Kerala.
In the following days, only light to medium showers are expected in parts of the state. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow warning for Kannur, barraragod, mappuram and idukki on Thursday, where isolated heavy rain is likely. Of the 126 IMD stations, only four stations in the last 24 hours ended at 8:30 in the last 24 hours. During the day there was a minimum collision at most stations.
