Yadveer Krishhnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, MEP for Mysuru, raised the question of possible cancellation of night traffic through Bandipur and was looking for a directive from the house to the ministry to interest him.
Mr. Wadiyar, who addressed this matter to Sandhya Ray, who was in Lok Sabha, said the Karnataka government introduced night traffic through NH 766, which underwent a bandipure in the Chamarajanagar district in Kharnation and connected Wayanad in Kerala.
He said that despite this progressive policy, it was introduced to ensure that the collisions of wild animals and illegal activities and transport were kept to a minimum, the Kerala government has repeatedly tried to cancel the ban and had re -exerted pressure on Karnataka.
Mr. Wadiyar pointed out that Minister Siddaramaiah refused to cancel the night ban during his previous period.
Referring to the current development, Mr. Wadiyar recently said that before the Supreme Court, an affidavit was filed, advocating an increased way on the alternative route and maintaining NH 766 only for the needs of the local community and emergency vehicles.
However, the leaders of Congress put pressure on the Karnataka government to withdraw the affidavit of the Supreme Court, and also consider again and consider night traffic through Bandipur.
Mr. Wadiyar said that such interference in Karnatakaho has undermined the state’s efforts to maintain natural heritage, all in favor of several political personalities and was deeply condemnable.
He said the house should take a firm attitude against lifting the night ban.
