The Indian Social Party (WPI) will start from the 20th to 27th April throughout the state a weekly mass movement and demands a government led by BJP on Wednesday to withdraw the recent changes in the WAQF Act.
District President WPI Kalaburagi on Saturday, President of the WPI district Kalaburagagi Abdul Sale Chittapuri and State Secretary Mubeen Ahmad said that the aim of the weekly mass movement called “WAQF protection is our responsibility” to emphasize the greater consequences of the WAQF law (law) and distribution.
Mr. Chittapuri stated that the amendments to the waqf Act are and the assault on the Constitution of India, WHICH Fundamentally Contradicts Articles 14, 25, 26, and 29. He Asserted that the amended Act Belongs to Waqf, WHICH WILL FURTHER PAVE THE WAY FOR ENCROACHMENTS ON WAQF LANDS AND WEAKEN INSTITUTIONAL SAFEGUARDS.
Mr. Ahmed expressed that changes in the WAQF law allow the Central Government to produce rules on the registration and publication of the WAQF Proceedings.
The amended act orders the inclusion of non -Muslims in the Central Waqf Council and state councils that interfere with religious affairs and disrupt the autonomy and rights of the WAQF advice and the Muslim community in general, he added.
They said WFI would intensify its upset until the central government has worsened the WAQF change law.
