Chief coach Ben Sawyer expressed sympathy for Devonshire and recognized his hard work to ensure a place in the group and disappointing that the tournament had disappeared so soon.
“We all feel for Flora. She was working hard to earn her place in this group, and it’s a pity that her tournament ends early,” Sawyer said in a statement.
Rowe’s integration provides a seasoned warrior team who can contribute with both the ball and the lower order. Her arrival in Guwahati is expected to be 7 October before the match against Bangladesh 10. October.
