Sri Lanka women gave Indian women their first loss of the series TRI and on Sunday 4th May on R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo defeated them with three goals in the match 4.

However, it is not enough to seal the victory for their team when Sri Lanka registered her first victory in ODI over India since 2018. It was only the third victory for Sri Lanka in their history ODI over India.
Despite her loss, India maintained the highest place on the point table with two victories out of three matches and had four points in her name. On the other hand, Sri Lanka also sealed the second place with two wins out of three matches.
SL vs Indian tri series Match 4 most important
Sri Lanka lost Hasini Perer (22 out of 27) early in Chase, but Vishmi Gunaratne (33 out of 58) and Harshith Samarawickrama (53 out of 61) stabilized the shifts with its 78-running rack. Their partnership was interrupted by Arundhati Reddy, who released Gunaratne, while Samarawickram also fell the prey of Pratice Rawal.
Sri Lanka also lost the large scalp of Chamari Athapath (23 out of 33) and were reduced to 152/4 at 32.1 breaks, which needed 127 runs to win from 107 balls. With the decisive intersection of Kavisha Dilhari (35 out of 52) and Nilakshi de Silva (56 out of 33), he added 57 runs for the fifth goal of 38 balls.
Rana, however, came again to save her team and got rid of Dilhari to interrupt the threatening partnership. The release had a small effect on De Silva, who raised her fifty of only 28 balls. India continued to throw herself with the goals, because Plapureddy Charani got a valuable scalp De Silva and Sri Lanka 38 had the 44 balls won.
Just as the match seemed to escape, Anushka Sanjeewani (23* out of 28) and Sugandika Kumari (19* out of 20) turned the heroes to take their team home with an unsurpassed 40-run stand of 39 balls.
