Women’s participation in the workforce has risen with more than 62 lakh applications-23 % year-on-year jump.
This growth was the most significant in level II and III, such as Chandigarh, Indore and Jamshedpur, driven by flexible work possibilities, hiring gender, and widespread opportunities such as BPO, Finance and HR, reports.
Occupates contributed more than 66 Lakh applications-O 46 % year-on-year increase.
Meanwhile, APNA recorded 3.1 LakH jobs, up to 26 percent from Q1 2024, largely driven by small and medium -sized enterprises (SMB) by accusation and broadcasting more than 2.1 Lakh jobs, of which 28 547 roles exclusively for women.

In the fourth quarter of the 2025 APNA, the APNA recorded 65.4 % of jobs for software/web developers, along with 42.2 % for more recent applications for these positions compared to the previous year.
This increase emphasizes the growing need for specialized experts in fields such as AI/ml, cyber security, business intelligence and data -based operations because businesses in these regions are expanding their digital skills.
While traditional technological nodes such as Delhi-NCR, Bengalur and Mumbai maintain their dominance, cities like Indore, Jaipur, Lucknow, Rajkot and Warangal are quickly appearing as key players in hiring technology.
These cities have seen 30-50 %year -on -year growth in technology applications, which is due to an increased approach to engineering talents, certifications and stronger digital infrastructure.
