
The death of a 21 -year -old woman in a cottage in Bherya in Mysuru district is shrouded in mystery. Death with the mouth was reportedly discarded.
Police arrested Darshita’s girlfriend Siddaraju (25 years) and is under investigation to find out the cause of the death that stated that it took place on Saturday (August 25, 2025).
The police said Darshita, a native of Gerasanahali in Hunsur Taluk, was married to a person from Kerala. She checked in a cottage with Siddaraju, who comes from Bettadaphu in Periyapatna. The victim’s lower jaw is said to have been torn off.
In the middle of the reports of the use of the explosive, the superintendent of the police, Mysur, N. Vishnuvardhan explained that no gelatin stick, detonator or bomb were used in the incident.
A team of officials from forensic sciences of the laboratory achieved space and gathered samples for investigation.
Although the accused claims that an “explosion” occurred as a result of a mobile charger, the police suspect that the accused used a “powder” that acted as a “triggering agent” for “explosion”.
The incident is said to have taken place on the first floor of the building, but no one in the building heard any loud sound.
