Khatiyas also mentioned the inappropriate religious remark of the driver during the journey. The situation escalated when she got off briefly to buy coffee powder. When he returns, she claims that she found that the driver was trying to avert the purse. “He was caught in red. My money was stuck in a zipper and tried to pull it out,” she said, adding she didn’t realize she was behind him.
In the video, the driver shows how different excuses – including blaming a random passers -by – can be seen before it publicly confronted it and recorded a moment. Later she recorded the video and shared details of the online vehicle.
Since then, the video has gained traction on social media and drew sharp reactions from users’ safety. In response to the contribution, Rapido issued a public apology on Instagram:
“Hi Janhavi, we sincerely apologize on behalf of the captain. This is not the kind of experience we are trying to provide. We take customers’ security seriously and follow the zero tolerance policy for such behavior. Please let us investigate.”
The company also said that it tried to contact it, but did not receive the answer.
