On Friday (August 1), the thirty -year -old woman Chehlad arrested a 38 -year -old native of Mathirapily in Kothamangalam for alleged poisoning.
The victim, identified as ansil, died in a private hospital in Aluva on Thursday evening (July 31). Reportedly he was in a relationship with the accused, who later became acidic. According to police, Kothamangalam agreed to meet him on Tuesday, July 29. The police suspect that he was forced to consume Weedicide.
On Wednesday morning (July 30) he reportedly experienced restlessness and called his relatives for help. The woman reportedly reported her parents to try to end his life by eating poison. The victim reportedly told one of her relatives that the accused had poisoned him.
The police said that a bottle containing a suspicion of a Weedicide was obtained from the woman’s house.
The victim’s body was handed over by a relative after mortem in the Government Medical College Hospital in Ernacula. The police recorded the arrest of women on Friday evening according to Section 103 (punishment for murder) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhit. It was made in court and was transferred in judicial custody.
