
Saidabad police arrested a 48 -year -old woman for the murder of her 70 -year -old relative and stole his silver ornaments.
The accused, identified as Nepzath Manga, allegedly killed Katroth Shivaiah in the interference of the night of 14 and 15.
According to the officer, the complainant, the older daughter of the victim, he found her father dead 15. September with strangulation and missing ornaments.
“The investigation revealed that manga, who lived in the same locality, had long -term disputes with the victim’s family. He died of the financial losses resulting from incomplete construction work after introducing them to the supplier on behalf of Venkatesh,” said the officer.
It was also revealed that mangoes were developing an illegal relationship with Venkatesh and was due to unpaid loans for vehicles under financial tension.
14 September, after a quarrel with the wife of the victim, who escalated to the public quarrel with Shivaiah, allegedly decided to remove it.
“In the early morning hours of 15 September, while Shivaiah slept in an intoxicated state, manga choke him with a pillow and strangled him with plastic thread. Then she removed the silver ornaments from her person and hid them in a rice can at home,” the officer added.
The scene was confiscated by evidence, including plastic threads, pillows and other articles, and after mortem confirmed death by strangling.
After her arrest, the stolen ornaments weighing about 30 Tolas were obtained in her case.
