Before the elections of the Assembly on Sunday, the main Minister Bihar Nitish Kumar announced on Sunday 25,000 GBP a one -time contribution for each “Vikas Mitra” to buy tablets.
“Vikas Mitras” is the task of accepting government schemes to people belonging to the planned caste (SC) and the planned tribe community (ST). They are over 10,000 distributed around various villages.
Mr. Kumar said that “Vikas Mitra” plays a key role in allowing SC and STS to take advantage of various development and social programs.
CM said that the government of the National Democratic Alliance in the State is working on the rise of neglected parts of society by monitoring the principle of development with justice.
“With regard to this, it has been decided that every Vikas Mitra works as part of the Bihar Mahadalite Development Mission for the purchase of tablets and other tasks,” Mr. Kumar wrote about X.
He also announced the increase in the “Vikas Mitra” transport allowance from the current 1,900 GBP to 2,500 GBP per month, as well as power allowances from 900 to 1,500 GBP.
CM also assigned 10,000 GBP to “Shiksha Sevaks” and “Talimi Markaz” – volunteers of basic education – for buying smartphones. The task is to help children from mahadalites, Dalit, minorities and extremely backward classes in education and improve the level of women’s literacy. He said that the government also decided to increase the teaching material, from 3,405 GBP to 6,000 GBP per center per year.
The decision will strengthen the morale “Vikas Mitra”, “Shiksha Sevaks” and “Talimi Markaz” when fulfilling his duties with greater enthusiasm and determination, he added.
