
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday (May 3) congratulated Anthony Albanes to ensure the historical second term of office as an Australian prime minister and his victory described as a “permanent belief” in his leadership.
PM Modi posted a message on X (formerly Twitter), shortly after Albanese announced a victory after the high national elections.
“Congratulations to @albomp to your significant victory and re -election as Prime Minister Australia! This strong mandate suggests the permanent faith of the Australian people in your leadership,” PM Modi wrote.
The Prime Minister also emphasized the growing partnership between two Indo-Tichoral democracy and said that he was looking forward to close cooperation with the Albanian government to strengthen regional cooperation.
“I look forward to working on the further deepening of a comprehensive strategic partnership in India and Australia and progress in our common vision of peace, stability and prosperity in Indo-Pacific,” PM Modi said.
Albanese visited India in March 2023, where he and PM Modi agreed to expand cooperation within the comprehensive framework of strategic partnership.
Australia is home to large Indian diaspora, and both leaders regularly emphasized references to people as a cornerstone of bilateral relations.
During a visit to Australia 2023, Albanese caused the premiere of Narendra Modi, even called him the “boss” at the Grand Assembly, attended by the Indian-Australian.
At the beginning of this year, PM Modi hosted Albania in India, where both leaders shared a symbolic round of honor in a golf cart on a cricket theme before the test match, emphasizing their passion for sports.
Albania provides historical second term of office
Albanian re-election-the first time in 21 years, when the Australian Prime Minister won the three-year conditions-there were considered a mandate for continuity in Australian foreign policy, especially in Indo-Pacific.

Anthony Albanes’s victory defies the typical pattern of Australian governments that will lose their chairs in the second term.
“The Australians decided to face the global challenges of the Australian journey and took care of themselves while they were building in the future,” Albanese told supporters during a festive speech in Sydney.
Rejection of conservatism inspired by Trump
Unlike his opponents, the Albanian distanced their government from the ideological style of US President Donald Trump.
“We do not have to beg or borrow or copy from anywhere. We are not looking for our inspiration abroad. We will find it here in our values and in our people,” he said.
The laboratory called the opposition leader Peter Dutton “Duge-Y Dutton”, accusing his conservative liberal side of the imitation of Trump and his now disappeared separation of government efficiency.
Dutton admits, loses a long -term place
Dutton admitted defeat on an election night and confirmed that his alliances of the conservative parties lost – including his own parliamentary headquarters held for 24 years. His political fall caused a comparison with Canadian Pierre Poilievr, another leader of the opposition who lost his place after alignment with economic positions from Trumps.
