
Jannik Sinner attacked his first Wimbledon final after Novak Djokovic defeated in direct sets in the second semifinal. On Friday, July 11, Sinner needed only an hour and 55 minutes to send Djokovic 6-3, 6-3, 6-4 at the Court centers. The 23 -year -old also avenged his loss of direct sets of Djokovic in the semifinals 2023.
For the first time since 2017, the Wimbledon final will not introduce Djokovic. Last time he missed the title Clash at All England was when Roger Federer defeated Marin Cilic to win his eighth Wimbledon Crown.
Wimbledon 2025 semifinals highlight
Djokovic is waiting for a record 25. The title Grand Slam continues. With his fifth consecutive victory over the Serb, Sinner also improved his record against Djokovice on 6-4.
Sinner also became the fifth man since 1995, who achieved the final of all four Grand Slams and joined Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray. He is also the second highest man in an open era to achieve this performance after Jim Courier.
In the finals Jannik Sinner will face Carlos Alcaraz, Who got better Taylor Fritz in the first semifinal of the day. The collision will also be the match of the French Open finals, where Alcaraz won the thrilling five hundred battles.
Sinner dictates terms
Sinner did not waste time to gain an early advantage, secured the lead 2-1 with interruption of administration and then extended it to 3-1. Djokovic answered a strong service game and held Sinner to love in the sixth game to close the gap at 2-3.
Sinner, however, did not allow Djokovic to build any momentum. At 5-3, 40-15, Sinner earned two set points. Djokovic saved both, but Sinner turned the third to take the set and the last laughter.
Sinner transferred his momentum to the second set and broke Djokovic for the third time in the match to take the lead 2-0 before expanding it to 3-0.
On 5-2, 40-30, Sinner got a set point, but Djokovic saved him ace. Djokovic had to fight for almost eight and a half minutes and five deues to eventually hold the portion. However, it did not unavoidable, because Sinner comfortably closed the set in his next service game.

Djokovic struggle, but the sinner triumphes
Before the start of the third set of Djokovic, he received treatment since his physiology and increased speculation about possible retirement in the middle of the match-style as after the opening set of his semifinals against Alexander Zverev at the Australian Open at the beginning of this year.
After treatment, however, it seemed that Djokovic was rejuvenated. He gained his first service break to take the lead 2-0, followed by a firm hold to GO 3-0 up.
But Sinner was not ready to retreat. He won the fourth break of the match and equalized the score to 3-3 and moved the pressure directly back to Djokovic.
Sinner then gained a second break in the set to go 4-3 from one time he was 0-3 down. From there, Sinner did not look back and closed the match without many hiccups.
