
Carlos Alcaraz maintained his dream of Wimbledon alive alive after attacked the final of the current grass court. On Friday, July 11, the Spaniard defeated American Taylor Fritz 6-4, 5-7, 6-3, 6-1 in two hours and 50 minutes.
Alcaraz is now just one victory to become only the fifth man after Bjorn Borg, Pete Sampras, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic to win three consecutive Wimbledon titles at All England.
Alcaraz with his 20th Direct victory at SW19 reached his sixth Grand Slam final. Currently, he runs on a lane with 24 matches, which also won the Italian open, the French Open and Queen’s Club Championships. For those who do not know, the 21-year-old boasts a perfect 5-0 record in the big final.
Update of the Wimbledon 2025 semifinals
In the final of Alcaraz, the corners with the winner of the second semifinals between the world No. 1 Jannik Sinner and the 24-Time Grand Slam Champion Novak Djokovic.
Alcaraz took over the timely check by setting out in the first set of 2-0, earning a break, and then holding Fritz to love. Although Fritz improved his portion, he couldn’t find a break he needed to stay in the set. Alcaraz had a point set to 5-3, 40-30, which Fritz saved, but the Spaniard closed the set in 35 minutes and again held love.
Alcaraz, who is trying to win his sixth Grand Slam title, was flawlessly on his first portion and won all 13 points for a perfect 100 % success rate.
Fritz threatens but Alcaraz dominates
In the second set Fritz won the point at Alcaraz’s first for the first time in the match, but Alcaraz still held on the level of 2-2. The Spaniard then regained control and held Fritz to love in his next service game. Fritz got his first break in the eighth game, but Alcaraz stored him to be 4-4.
However, Alcaraz behaved in the 12th game and first launched four direct points when Fritz broke the first time to come from the ensemble and match the match.

Fritz transferred his momentum to the third set and held Alcaraz to love in the opening game. But Alcaraz replied in kind and held love at 1-1. Then he broke Fritz’s administration to re-get the upper hand and consolidated a break to go up 3-1.
Alcaraz led 5-3 and 40-15 and scored two points. Fritz saved one ace, but Alcaraz kept his nerves to close the set.
In the fourth set of Fritz he survived the frightened in the sixth game and saved the break point to stay in the competition. The American continued his call Alcaraz and managed to move the file to the tie.
In Tie-Breaker, Alcaraz raced on the lead 4-1, but Fritz attacked back and won five consecutive points to earn two set points to 6-4. But Alcaraz, the mini-bours, saved both, and winded four more points to close the match, roaring in enthusiasm, teaching his place in the finals.
