
Novak Djokovic needed four sets to overcome the unpleasant Frenchman Alexandre Muller 6-1, 6-7 (7), 6-2, 6-2 in the shaking opening match in Wimbledon. The seven -time champion fought stomach mistakes on Monday and required medical assistance in court, but the Serb managed to complete the work and secure his place in the second round.
This edition of Wimbledon was not particularly kind for the players. After Daniil Medvedev and Holger Rune fell on the day of the opening, the French Master Open Coco Gauff was expelled on Monday. When Djokovic’s rhythm immersed in the second set and called for medical assistance, there were restless faces-the Serbian in the crowd. But Djokovic alleviated these concerns, found its scope and ensured that it was not drawn into the referee.

The Serb needed less than 45 minutes to take place, but required medical intervention in the second. After lost with Carlos Alcaraz in the last two finals in the All England Club, Djokovic was honest with the call before us.
“I have played six finals in the last six editions of this event. He always enjoys this court-when I have played Alcaraz for the past few years,” he said.
However, the Serb sent a fixed message to its doubts and insisted that he would not be in London if he did not believe he could go all the way.
“I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t think I had a chance to be honest. I think I always have a chance. I got the right to really feel as if I could go to the title. I probably had the most conconventive success of any great straw over the last decade.”
