London:The body of Novak Djokovic saved him in his 14th semifinals on Friday, when he was against World No. 1 Jannik Sinner.A 38 -year -old man, who appeared physically defending during the match, felt the effects of a nasty fall during his quarterfinals, had a coach.“Just as I take care of my body, the reality will hit me right now. It was hard for me to accept (situation) for me for the last year and a half,” the seven -time champion said. “I feel that when I’m fresh when I’m fit, I can still play really good tennis. I proved that this year. Playing the best of five, especially this year, was a physically real fight.”Djokovic added: “This year I have achieved the last phases of every straw, but I have to play a sinner or Alcaraz. These boys are fit, young, sharpening. I feel like I’m going into the match with the tank half empty.”
Djokovic hopes to return to the Court Center, at least once again.“Hopefully this is not my last match in Central Court,” he said after his loss to Sinner. “I’m not planning to complete my Wimbledon career today. I’m definitely going to return at least again.”
