It was hard for me to accept (situation) for me for the last year and a half,” the seven -time champion said. “I feel that when I’m fresh when I’m fit, I can still play really good tennis. I proved that this year. Playing the best of five, especially this year, was a physically real fight.”Djokovic added: “This year I have achieved the last phases of every straw, but I have to play a sinner or Alcaraz. These boys are fit, young, sharpening. I feel like I’m going into the match with the tank half empty.”
Djokovic hopes to return to the Court Center, at least once again.“Hopefully this is not my last match in Central Court,” he said after his loss to Sinner. “I’m not planning to complete my Wimbledon career today. I’m definitely going to return at least again.”
