“Windsor has become their home. However, over the past few years, when they lived in Adelaide Cottage, some were really difficult times,” the BBC’s royal source said.
“Moving gives them the opportunity for a new beginning and a new chapter. It is an opportunity to leave some of the more unfortunate memories,” the source added.
To know more about Forest Lodge
Forest Lodge, which underwent 1.5 million GBP in restaurant work in 2001 and was previously leased for 15,000 GBP per month, will now serve as a long-term family residence, which the initiates describe as “home” forever.
This property, surrounded by 4,800 acres of natural beauty, is in accordance with the deep -rooted love of Catherine for nature, which she publicly described as her “sanctuary”, especially during her recovery.
As with Adelaide Cottage, the family will not employ any live staff and instead decide to maintain the most common home life for their three children-Princ George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis-all are currently entered in Lambrook School.

This step is privately financed by a couple, while the prince and the princess pay for the market rent for Forest Lodge. Any reconstruction of the historical home is also carried out privately, with a recent permit granted for small works, including the modification of the fireplace and the removal of the window.
The decision of the couple reflects the wider efforts to ensure privacy and stability when they prepare for their future roles of the king and queen. Forest Lodge, with his historical charm and calm surroundings, offers a kind of stability that a couple allegedly long for their growing family.
While the royal offices will remain in the Kensington Palace and Anmer Hall in Norfolk it continues to serve as their rural retreat during the school holidays, Windsor has become a real home family base.
A new residence with decorated plaster, vaulted ceilings and the natural environment evoke a feeling of quiet grandeur. The movement of Waleses is probably about maintaining carers and at the same time accepting a new chapter.
The family is expected to move to Forest Lodge by Christmas with the hope of creating new, joyful memories of what they consider to be another permanent chapter of their royal journey.
