
BJP State Media Co-convenor Velagaleti Gangadhar took charge as the director of Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation (APBWC) at the corporation’s office in Gollapudi on Sunday in the presence of corporation chairman Buchi Ram Prasad.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Gangadhar said that under the chairmanship, he would work to promote the welfare and development of Brahmins, especially priests and ‘purohits’ across the state. He said that education programs for Brahmin students, youth self-employment programs and group loans for women would be implemented more effectively through the corporation’s credit company to ensure economic empowerment and social stability.
Mr. Gangadhar said that he would strive to further strengthen and expand the social activities of the corporation for the upliftment of poor Brahmins.
He expressed gratitude and thanked BJP State President PVN Madhav, Party General Secretary (Organization) Madhukar, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan, BJP Guntur District President Cherukuri Tirupatirao and all the leaders who provided direct and indirect support.
